CAST BIOS
CATHERINE BIRDSONG is a member of SAG/Aftra with a degree in Musical Theatre from Belmont University. Select roles include: “Ariel” in Disney’s The Little Mermaid at Nashville Children's Theatre, “Peggy” in The Hundred Dresses at NCT, “Trixie Who” in How the Grinch Stole Christmas National Tour, and “Cindy Lou” in The Marvelous Wonderettes. Television: Disney’s Pair of Kings, Pretty Little Liars, and How I Met Your Mother. Thanks to Wally for the opportunity to work with you again! Much Love to Mom, Dad and My precious son Rex.
PHILIP DAVID BLACK was last sighted onstage as Sky Masterson in Guys & Dolls with Franklin Theatrical Fellowship, having appeared earlier in the year in The Play That Goes Wrong with Studio Tenn. All this came out of his returning to theater after a 5 year hiatus in Playhouse 615’s The 39 Steps, which just goes to show that community theater is highly infectious. Consult your physician before use. He earned his BA in Theatre Performance from Huntington University in Indiana, and performed for years throughout the Midwest and West Coast. He lives in Tennessee now, but he comes in peace. Colossians 3:23

JACOB WAID is an acclaimed American opera singer and musical theatre baritone known for his commanding stage presence and emotional depth. He has performed iconic roles including Jean Valjean and Javert in Les Misérables, the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera, and Sweeney Todd in Sweeney Todd. Jacob has collaborated with renowned organizations such as Houston Grand Opera, Seagle Music Colony, and Chautauqua Opera, and has been praised by critics nationwide for his vocal power and artistry. He continues to perform around the country while also working as a director and producer for theatres around Nashville. Wally Nason is the Artistic/Managing Director of About The Town Productions. Since 2009, he has been perhaps the most prolific composer of performed musicals in America. His 20 original musicals have played in front of over a million thrilled audience members and maybe even a few 'not so thrilled' ones around the Eastern United States. He has also served as the director of each of their openings.
